Shared Food and Drink have been a sign of love since the start of humanity.

One of my earliest memories as a Syrian-American was watching my mom and grandmother waking up early Saturday mornings to start preparing dinner for our weekly family dinners. They always joked about how our food was a labor of love, and they had to love us so much to spend a full day cooking. I grew up learning the intention behind what we cook and how we cook it, as it relates to our ancestry and culture.

As I continued to grow up in America and married my American husband, My passion for the Food-Love language continued to grow into what I made everyday. My new, blended culture has taught me to show love not only in what I cook, but in who I serve it to.

I started Bean and Bar to take my love and understanding of food to those around me. Iā€™m happy to serve my local community by providing Private Cook, Custom Orders/delivery, and Small Event Catering services.
